The European Network for Rural Development (EN RD) was launched in October 2008, to act as a focal point for all rural development actors across the EU.
In particular, the EN RD helps ensure that Member States efficiently implement Rural Development Programmes (RDPs).
The EN RD website has a number of resources on its website for the benefit of those involved in Rural Development.
The Leader Subcommittee contributes to the work of the Coordination committee, and advises the European Commission on the annual work programme of the EN RD particularly in respect of the Leader axis. It offers support to the European Commission in monitoring the implementation of transnational cooperation projects.
The Coordination committee (CC) assists the European Commission in preparing and implementing the EN RD's activities and also gives advice to the EC on the annual work programme of the EN RD.
This database demonstrates how the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) is being used in practice, by rural 'entrepreneurs' throughout the EU. It is your 'one-stop-shop' for information on rural development projects, from the types of projects funded to how funding was accessed. And there are projects from every EU country and covering all RDP axes.
The Leader Transnational Cooperation Guide is intended to provide an effective cooperation tool tailored to the needs of the current 2007-2013 programing period.
